Delivery Time Estimation |
To find the amount of time it will take for your order to arrive you need to
know two pieces of information. You need to know the status of the item.
The availability of the item is usually availble on the product details page.
Next, you need to know the estimated transit time for the shipping option
that you have selected this is available during the checkout. To determine
how long it will take to arrive at your location, you should add the status
of the product to the estimated transit time. This will give you good
estimate of how long it will take for you to get your product(s).
|
AVAILABILITY STATUS + ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIME = ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME
|
Shipping Examples:
|
|
Example 1: |
Lets say you were looking at ordering a product that states has an
availability status that reads "usually ships in 24 hours." If you
selected UPS ground shipping, you should expect to receive the product
in an estimated 4 to 10 Days (1 DAY + 3 to 9 Days = 4 to 10 Days)
|
|
|
Example 2: |
Lets say you were looking at ordering a product that had an
availability status of "usually ships in 3 days." If you
selected UPS 1 DAY shipping, you should expect to receive the
product in an estimated 4 Days (3 Days + 1 Day = 4 Days).

Availability Status |
|
|
The availability status is the time that it usually takes
the product to ship out of our warehouse. The availability
status can be different for different products. If you
order a product after 4:00 PM PST on a day, it will count
as if the order was received the following day.
Consequently, the availibilty status should be calculated
using the following day. Some availability status types
are as follows:
|
|
| |
Usually ships in 24 hours
Usually ships in 3 days
Usually ships in 1 week
Usually ships in 2 weeks
Backordered
|
|
Products that are Backordered are not in stock and as of
this time we do not have an indication of when these
products can ship out. We try to keep the availability
status of products up to date, however, sometimes popular
items will run out of stock before we can update the
status information on the web site.
|
|
|
Note: If you order a product after 4:00 PM PST on a
day, it will count as if the order was received the
following day. Consequently, the availibilty status should
be calculated using the following day. Also, store observed
holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving may add 24-48
hours to the availability status calculation.
